Megumi Nakamura

Megumi Nakamura (b. 1970) has worked with leading talents in the contemporary dance world such as Mats Ek and Ohad Naharin during her nine-year career as a top dancer for the Netherlands Dance Theater (NDT) led at the time by Jiří Kylián, which began in 1991. Her collaborations as a dancer since relocating to Japan in 2007 have transcended genre. She has worked as a choreographer with Yasuyuki Shuto and has presented work for the New National Theatre, Tokyo ballet company.
